Exciting news on the vegan Quorn front! There’s been an update on the petition, “Make all Quorn foods suitable for vegans,” which reads as follows:
23 Mar 2016 — We’ve had a response back from Chantal, from the Vegan Lifestyle Association who have already been working with Quorn:
“I’m delighted to tell you that another three vegan products will be released soon and that the CEO wants the entire range to be vegan.
One of the things that has slowed progress is that there’s currently a worldwide shortage of potato starch, which is one of the ingredients they need to replace the egg white.
But please take heart that they will be going vegan!
I promise I’ll stay in touch with Quorn and keep you all informed of progress.”
Thank you all for your support!
So, three new vegan Quorn products to be released, and a long term goal of making everything vegan! Click here to read the message and sign the petition.

Here’s the latest statement from Quorn’s FAQ page:
“We’re delighted Quorn customers are so enthusiastic about our new Vegan range. We are aware that a statement has been circulating regarding our Vegan plans for the future. Whilst as a business we remain wholly committed and passionate about developing our Vegan range further and launching more delicious products, due to the technicalities involved as well as a shortage of potato protein – a vital ingredient – we cannot at this stage commit to making the entire Quorn range completely Vegan. But watch this space as more products are coming.”
