I received these four products as part of the Lush Comfort and Joy Christmas Gift Set. The products came carefully packaged in a beautifully wrapped box, with plenty of packing peanuts to prevent them from getting damaged.

A Lush catalogue was included in the box, which was a nice addition, and makes a change from browsing the website.

The products were a nice mix of different styles and scents, but still complemented each other well. Read on for detailed, individual reviews of each product: Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner 45g, Twilight Shower Gel 100g, Reindeer Rock Soap 120g and The Comforter Shower Cream 100g. All of these products are suitable for vegans.

Twilight Shower Gel 100g

This was definitely my favourite product in the set. The colour is a nice, deep, blue-y purple, which looks a lot like the night sky (matching perfectly with the name.) The scent was very unique, a combination of lavender and malt, which is very relaxing and perfect for bedtime. A little goes a long way with this product, and although the bottle looks quite small, it lasted a long time.

The Comforter Shower Cream 100g

This shower cream is a lovely bright pink colour, very vibrant in comparison to the other products in the set. It has a nice berry scent that isn’t too strong, and doesn’t smell as artificial as many berry scented products do. Not as relaxing as the Twilight shower gel, I’d say this product is more appropriate for use in the morning. It has a good consistency, and, again, a little goes a long way.

Reindeer Rock Soap 120g

With a silver sparkling reindeer on a dark purple background, this is a lovely festive soap. I’m not usually a fan of bar soaps, as they tend to have quite a drying effect on the skin, but I didn’t find that to be the case with this product, which was quite moisturising, and very smooth to the touch. The scent is like a combination of both Twilight and the Comforter, which makes it great for morning and night use. As with most solid soaps, this will definitely last a long time.

Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner 45g

This body conditioner comes a small, flat tub which is convenient and easy to use in the shower or bath. Very thick, with a wide variety of oils, and a nice rose scent, this product matches nicely with all of the previous items. Although the conditioner is thick, it absorbs very quickly into the skin. This is a good thing, but means that you may have to use more than you expect. The product should still last a long time though – it’s so moisturising that it probably isn’t necessary to use it every single day.

Overall, I would definitely recommend each of these products. If you only buy one, I’d pick the Twilight Shower Gel. The scent is unlike any other shower gel I have ever used, and it is excellent in helping you to relax and fall asleep.
