Are you ready to eat way too much vegan chocolate this Easter? You’re in luck because 2019 is already looking like one of the best years for vegan Easter eggs yet. We’ve included lots of options sold in UK supermarkets, with something for every budget.
1. Buttermilk Choc Honeycomb/Choc Orange Easter Eggs
Despite the name, Buttermilk have two delicious, vegan-friendly eggs on sale at Sainsbury’s. Choose from Choc Honeycomb or Choc Orange.
2. Tesco Finest Salted Caramel Easter Egg
A caramel flavour egg that comes with raspberry and caramel fondant truffles, yum. For a ‘luxury’ option, it’s not too expensive at £6.50 and is reduced to £5 until 2nd April! There’s also a dark chocolate version with orange and raspberry truffles.
3. ASDA Extra Special Free From Easter Egg Selection
Can’t decide what you want this year? For £4.50 you can have THREE vegan Easter eggs: chocolate with raspberry pieces, white chocolate with vanilla, and dark chocolate with cocoa nibs. Perfect for families!
4. Sainsbury’s Free From Strawberry and White Chocolate Egg
Have you been desperate for a pink vegan Easter egg? If so, you’re in luck with this strawberry and white chocolate treat from Sainsbury’s. It’s £3.50 and they also have (less exciting) chocolate and white chocolate versions.
5. Hotel Chocolat Soft Boiled Easter Egg
How crazy is this ‘Soft-Boiled Egg’ from Hotel Chocolat?! It’s pricey at £10 but definitely a fun novelty. It’s great to see that there’s a dedicated section for vegan Easter eggs on the Hotel Chocolat website.
6. Buttermilk Caramelised Cacao Nib
Another delicious-looking vegan option from Buttermilk — this one is £12 at Waitrose.
7. Aldi Dark Chocolate Egg with Hazelnut Truffles
Aldi have stepped up their game this year with an Organic Dark Chocolate Egg & Hazelnut truffles. This one is perfect for Ferrero Rocher fans.
8. Moo Free Chocolate Orange Egg
Moo Free have been selling these popular vegan Easter eggs for years now, and they’re a great choice for kids. There’s milk chocolate, chocolate orange, and ‘bunnycomb’.
9. Kinnerton Just Chocolate Dark Chocolate Egg & Large Bar
Even Iceland are offering a vegan Easter egg this year, hooray. This one’s £6 for 195g.
