10 reviews for Wicked Kitchen Pineapple Dream Cake 500G

  1. Lenny

Has a very unpleasant taste. It’s like eating play dough with a slight hint of pineapple. I didn’t find it too sweet, rather is has a kind of dirty taste to it. I’m usually full of praise for Wicked Kitchen, but this is just horrid.

  2. Sonia Alani

So disappointed … the description on the package made it sound delicious but, as someone here says, just a tasteless sludge and quite an unpleasant gritty textured sludge at that. Couldn’t taste the ‘zing’, just incredibly sweet, no discernible taste of pineapple or passion fruit, a hint of coconut. No one could eat theirs – £4 wasted.

  3. Ms S ,Marston

Not impressed, tasteless sludge. It is not cake as in sponge it is more like a sloppy cheese cake texture

  4. sarah

Tasteless and boring, definitely not worth the calories.

  5. Rachel Evans

I really enjoyed it and have no problem buying this again. I don’t see why such negative reviews?

How to make what should be a tasty cake into a bland, flavourless stodge, just try this ‘dream’ cake for tips.

  7. P Longmuir

No taste at all just sweet. If a dessert is pineapple topped, one would expect it to taste of the fruit, but no. The biscuit base was OK but the rest gets a big thumbs down.

This is one of my favourite cakes now: it has bold distinct flavours, creamy middle and fruity topping. The biscuit base is crunchy, quite hard to cut and coconutty. The creamy filling has a slight coconut flavour but not noticeable:it’s one of the best fresh “cheese” alternative I ever tasted. The topping is my favourite part: passion fruits with pineapple pieces, zingy and fruity.
I say if you not sure then you should try it yourself. The only thing which isn’t that positive is the price : it’s more expensive than alternative non-vegan products but it’s not that bad to take a star away. It would serve 4 to 6 people although it did happen before that I eat half of it in one sitting (advice: don’t eat it from the tray :D)

Chickpea sludge??!! This is DELICIOUS!!!! Would give 6 stars if I could.

Really unpleasant, chickpea sludge with dry base.
