Pret A Manger have launched their ‘Not just for veggies’ campaign, introducing a wider range of tasty vegetarian options to their shops. You can check out the veggie menu here, and filter to see the whole range of vegan options, or check out our screenshots below!
We think the Acai Breakfast bowl sounds really tasty and unique, and the Chana Chaat Flatbread is a nice alternative to the usual falafel/houmous offerings in places like this. The Mushroom and Avocado Sushi Salad (pictured below) looks interesting and unique.
There are plenty of choices for both breakfast and lunch, and they all sound filling and healthy, with lots of unusual ingredients. We hope that other UK coffee chains will follow the great example being set by Pret A Manger.
Pret are even converting one of their Soho shops to vegetarian only for one month, to trial more options! You can read a full blog post from their CEO here.
For the month of June, Pret will convert an existing Soho shop to become vegetarian only. We are doing this both to challenge our chefs to come up with delicious veggie and vegan food and to ask our customers what they think should end up on Pret’s shelves permanently.
Have you tried any of the vegan options at Pret A Manger? Let us know what you thought in the comments.
