Want to enjoy vegan mayo on your sandwiches, salads, and more? You’re in luck – most major UK supermarkets now sell at least one brand of vegan mayo, so you’ll be spoilt for choice! Keep scrolling to get a good look at the options.
Tesco Free From Mayo-Maize
Where is it sold? Tesco
What’s it like? We really like this – it’s tasty and close to the real thing. The only issue is that it can be hard to squeeze out once the bottle isn’t full… we’ve seen a few complaints on social media about this!
Mr Organic Egg Free and Organic Mayo
Where is it sold? Waitrose, Ocado, Holland & Barrett
What’s it like? This product should appeal to anyone who wants to stick to organic products. We’ve read mixed reviews online, so you’ll have to try it to see what you think.
Sacla Free From Mayonnaise
Where is it sold? Sainsbury’s, Ocado
What’s it like? It’s great to see a big brand like this offering a vegan trademarked product. It’s got great reviews for being thick and creamy, and the jar is handy if you don’t want to deal with a squeezy bottle.
Chippa May-o
Where is it sold? Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Asda
What’s it like? This has two five star reviews on our product database, and the taste has been likened to salad cream. Yum!
Granovita Mayola
Where is it sold? Holland & Barrett, Ocado
What’s it like? This is our personal favourite, although it’s sadly no longer available at Tesco. It tastes very realistic and comes in a squeezy bottle that’s easy to use, even when you’re running out. Some people think it tastes too much like salad cream, so it’s definitely a matter or taste!
Sriracha Mayo Sauce
Where is it sold? Tesco, Asda (usually in the World Foods aisle)
What’s it like? If you love sriracha or just want an extra kick with your mayo, this is ideal! If you don’t like hot flavours, give this a miss.
As you can see, it’s not hard to find tons of delicious vegan mayo in the UK! Which brand is your favourite? Or do you prefer to make your own? Let us know in the comments.
